By accessing and using SmartServe Prep ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
SmartServe Prep provides free, unofficial practice questions and study materials for the Ontario SmartServe certification exam. Our platform is designed to help aspiring and current hospitality workers prepare for the exam by offering practice tests, study guides, flashcards, and educational content about Ontario liquor laws and responsible alcohol service.
3. Not Affiliated with AGCO or SmartServe
Important: SmartServe Prep is an independent study resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), Smart Serve Ontario, or any government body. "SmartServe" is a registered trademark of Smart Serve Ontario. Our practice questions are original educational content created for exam preparation purposes and do not contain actual exam questions.
4. Educational Purposes Only
All content on SmartServe Prep is provided for educational and exam preparation purposes only. While we strive to ensure accuracy, our practice questions and study materials should not be considered legal advice regarding Ontario liquor laws. For official information about Ontario liquor regulations, consult the AGCO website directly.
Passing our practice tests does not guarantee passing the official SmartServe certification exam. The official exam may contain different questions, formats, and scoring criteria.
5. Intellectual Property
All original content on SmartServe Prep, including practice questions, explanations, study guides, blog articles, and website design, is protected by copyright. You may use the content for personal study purposes but may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit it without written permission.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use SmartServe Prep only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute our practice questions or study materials
- Use automated systems to extract content from the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Misrepresent our Service as an official SmartServe or AGCO resource
7. Local Storage and Data
The Service uses browser localStorage to save your study progress, quiz scores, and preferences. This data is stored entirely on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. Clearing your browser data will reset your progress. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
8. Accuracy and Updates
Ontario liquor laws and SmartServe exam requirements may change over time. We make reasonable efforts to keep our content current, but we do not guarantee that all information reflects the most recent regulatory changes. We recommend supplementing your study with official AGCO resources.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SmartServe Prep and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, damages resulting from exam failure, employment decisions, or reliance on information provided through the Service.
